Education and Training: Business Process Management and ...
To Whom?
The answer to this question is simple.... Education and training is good for everyone.
My main area of expertise in training is Business Process Management, which I started teaching more than 10 yesar ago. I've , however, been trainer / teacher of different things all along my life: Maths, Physics, English, Application Development for Banking, Project Management and ... some other "things" like Tae-kwon-Do (I trained my team for 8 years up to black belts). I started Teaching when I was 13 and "I've never stopped Teaching in my life".
The point is that Teaching is heartly vocational; while always been considered as a "second job" it is my plan to push it up during the second stage of my professional career and I've realized this is an inherent skill needed for most of the services I deliver.
My current focus of Training is focused on:
- Computer Engineering students, at any of the Universities where I deliver my lectures in Sant Cugat, Sabadell or remotely.
- Professionals encouraged to evolve in their professional career but with no formal education about Process Management. Also being trained with limited scoped training (e.g. Six Sigma) thus missing concepts, techniques and methods in othere areas (e.g Process Modeling).
My experience shows that a wide perspective about Business Process Management is very much appreciated and... useful. I've also had the need to train my students in different topics that collaterally complement Business Process Management: Project Management, Business Value definition, Agile Basics, ... most of them also very much related to Consulting.
